Courtney Puckett | Portfolio
July 16th-August, 1st 2008
Yellow is a twelve-day group show conceived by artist Courtney Puckett as a way to connect her work to that of friends and fellow emerging Brooklyn artists Ben Dowell, Pauline Halper, and Katy Krantz. The four artists share a rigorous studio practice of thinking through making and of contemplation through experimentation. Their works together reveal unexpected layered and nuanced affinities. The work is fragile, skeptical of resolution and defies categorization. It asserts itself coolly and confidently; like an unexpected breeze on a hot summer day.
Please join us for an opening reception on July 16th from 7-10 pm.
